Carpet care

  • Shaw recommends professional hot water extraction every 12 to 18 months.
  • Shaw requires proof of periodic hot water extraction, using equipment certified under the Carpet and Rug Institute’s Seal of Approval program, to keep its carpet warranties.
  • Carpet stays slightly damp for 6 to 12 hours after cleaning (Thumbtack).
